Senior School – Years 11 & 12
Mount Lawley Senior School provides a flexible, inclusive, and adult learning environment that respects all students and supports them to achieve their full potential.
Our Senior School combines a strong tradition of academic excellence with innovative programs designed to accommodate a wide range of career pathways and personal interests.
Our Senior School Approach
Senior School students are guided to make informed decisions about their courses and pathways, preparing them for university, TAFE, apprenticeships, or direct entry into the workforce. Our approach emphasises:
Pathway Planning: Courses are designed to lead to university, TAFE, or other training institutions, with options for combining school studies with external training or work placements.
Curriculum Innovation: Mount Lawley Senior School offers a broad range of courses tailored to meet the diverse academic and vocational needs of students.
Counselling & Support: Comprehensive counselling supports Year 10 students in selecting Year 11 and 12 courses aligned with their goals, continuing through to Year 12 to ensure students remain on track.
Course Selection & Curriculum
Senior School students select courses aligned with their interests, strengths and future pathways. Students and families are supported throughout this process by teachers and Year Coordinators.
